ABOUT THE BOOK

Rejection Proof is a book about how I conquered the fear of rejection and became invincible. No, I am not superman. However, I have gained the courage to ask anything from anyone, no matter how big or crazy the request.

In fact, check this out for yourself. Below is the video that took the world by storm just two years ago when I walked into a Krispy Kreme doughnuts and asked the manager to rearrange the donuts into the shape of the Olympic Rings.

No, I couldn’t do that just a short time ago. But now I do this kind of thing everyday to build my
business and inspire others. I want to teach you the secret of being fearless, and turn
every NO into an opportunity.

Rejection Proof is not a “self help” book but something I wrote to share my own story and what I learned about conquering the fear of rejection. With that being said, I share with you how I’ve learned to position myself to receive more yeses in my life, negotiate, and overall not be afraid of people.

In the process of my rejection journey, here is what I learned about rejection:

  1. Rejection is a muscle. If you don’t constantly work outside your comfort zone, you’ll lose it and you’ll become weak and timid.
  2. Rejection is a numbers game. Fight through enough no’s and you will eventually find a yes.
  3. Avoiding rejection is worse than receiving it. Most people believe avoiding rejection is a good thing, by avoiding something bad we’ve dodged a bullet and we are somehow net positive, but that’s not true. When we shy away from rejection we reject ourselves and our ideas before the world ever has a chance to reject them. This is the worst form of rejection and as a result, we are ignored by the world.

The greatest lesson I’ve learned from rejection is no matter what, don’t be ignored by the world.
